Part two of the legends and myths of Mount Misery and Sweet Hollow Road is finally up. And has anyone ever seen a one legged person wandering along the trails just across from the cemetery?

There are places to park and walk in near the Mt Misery grounds, just be careful and don't cause a disturbance.

If you park at the dead end or the camp ground parking lot, you will more than likely be pulled over and your car probably will be searched. There are high amounts of drug and gang activity in the area.

I'd love to head back there for an investigation sometime.

I usually parked either at the parking lot by the dog run, or the parking lot at the park on sweet hollow road and hiked up. I always thought it funny that most people who did investigations tended to do it near available parking places. As far as I can tell, where Mt. Misery Road ends - it was never a through road. So investigations should probably take place on the paved part of the road, or on the trails that head to the left and hooks up with Gwynne Road, which was the original route. Never had a problem with police, and I drove a bug and look a little on the suspicious side, even on a good day.
