CASA BASSO

In the late 1800s an American, Theophilus Brower, who traveled Spain and Italy decided to settle down in West Hampton. There he built a castle and sculptuary, undoubtedly inspired by his travels. The sculptuary was named "Pine Wood". The site has been home to a restaurant, Casa Basso for sometime. Driving in one passes under two dueling swordsman and a Roman lion is revealed, along with several nude statuettes.
