Above Left- This hospital not only had rails but also had a locomotive. To the right is the crew.

Above - The old Central Islip State Hospital station shown on a section of track which doesn't seem to have a trace of existence today. Notice the stack way in the back. This was from the old power plant that's also gone. This is the station and power plant located in the leftmost spur on the map below. Neither are still standing today. The station is item 72 in the map below.

Left - These pillars formed the trestle for the trains to deliver coal to the power plant.

Bellow - From the power plant, the tracks continue north and pass the firehouse.

Below right - Close-up of the rail by the firehouse.
