Pilgrim State Psychiatric Center
	The Pilgrim Psychiatric Center is the last of the large hospitals still open in Suffolk County. It received the remaining patients from Kings Park and CI as they shut their doors. A chunk of land was sold to a developer who tore down 17 identical buildings. The farm group has been converted to Suffolk Community College and the taller buildings are still in use. There are however dozens of buildings that lie dormant. This site documents these abandoned structures as well as the history of the center.
