Bay Shore Roller Rink

Many of you might remember going to the Bay Shore roller rink as a child. Perhaps you even had a birthday celebration there. Back in the 1970s, they had live organ music to skate by. The 1980s ushered in a DJ to replace the organ, and shortly after the new millennium, the place was closed for good. Now in abandonment, its memory lives on. RIP

Quoting michele nicolini:
I learned how to Rollerblade here in 1999
i think they tore it down and put office buildings there...or a gym...not sure

I bowl right next door..unfortunately it was torn down and replaced with a Lucille Roberts Gym. This happened within the last few years. It's a shame because I went there a lot as a kid
